Find a Home Where Your Heart Is, on the Central Coast
Looking for SDA Central Coast NSW options for an NDIS participant? Edenbridge Living builds and runs Specialist Disability Accommodation on the Central Coast. We have homes in Wamberal and the Gosford region. We are a Sydney-based family office and a registered NDIS provider. Browse our current SDA vacancies, or start with a chat.
Edenbridge Living is a registered NDIS provider, registered under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. We design and build homes that support independence, comfort and access. We stay involved for the long term.

Edenbridge Living provides SDA on the Central Coast. We support NDIS participants with intellectual disability, autism, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury, cognitive impairment and complex support needs. Our homes cover all four design categories: Improved Liveability, Robust, Fully Accessible and High Physical Support. Every SDA Central Coast NSW home we build is single-storey. If you are the participant, our information for participants explains how it works from your side. To see where else we build, visit the Edenbridge Living home page.
Life on the Central Coast is built around the water. Wamberal Beach, the Terrigal Haven and the Brisbane Water foreshore are part of daily life. The pace is slower than Sydney. Streets are quieter. Newer streets tend to have flatter footpaths. That helps if you use a wheelchair or a walker.
Erina Fair is the main shopping centre, and Erina sits a few minutes from Wamberal. Gosford has the hospital, a rail station and a bus interchange. The coast also has disability services, sport clubs and community centres. Day programs run across Gosford and Erina. A resident can build a week around what is nearby.
The Central Coast sits between Sydney and Newcastle. The fastest train services to Sydney take a little over an hour. Check the current Transport for NSW timetable for today’s times. The M1 links the region to Sydney and Newcastle by road. That helps when an appointment is out of the area. That is the point of our coastal disability homes. A resident can take part in the region, day to day.
Edenbridge Living has SDA homes in Wamberal and across the Gosford region. Our home there is a single-storey villa for one resident. The Gosford region is the service centre of the coast. Availability changes, so we do not publish live vacancy here. Our guide to ageing in place in an SDA home explains how we design for that.
Discover Central Coast LivingEdenbridge Living builds two property types. Shared houses are three-bedroom, single-storey homes. Private villas are one-bedroom and self-contained. Every home is matched to one of the four NDIS design categories. If you are unsure which category applies, read our guide to the SDA design categories.
Housing works best when health care sits close by. The Central Coast has a major public hospital. Here is what surrounds our homes.
Gosford Hospital is the main public hospital for the region. It is run by the Central Coast Local Health District.
The Central Coast Local Health District runs community health teams across Gosford and nearby suburbs.
Occupational therapists, physios, speech pathologists and psychologists all work across the Central Coast. Many will travel to a participant’s home.
Everyday care matters as much as hospital care. Wamberal, Terrigal, Erina and Gosford all have GP clinics, chemists, dentists and pathology collection points.
SDA pays for the home. Supported Independent Living, or SIL, pays for the daily help inside it. We work with registered SIL providers such as Achieve Australia, Trusted Home Care and Aruma. Participants pick their own SIL provider.
Gosford station sits on the Central Coast and Newcastle Line. Fast trains reach Sydney Central in a little over an hour.

Applying for SDA follows a clear set of steps. Our team can help you with each one.
01Check Your SDA Eligibility | Confirm you are an eligible NDIS participant. Check that you need specialised housing because of extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. |
02Gather Your Documents | Gather recent medical reports and notes from health professionals. Add any past support or housing plans that show what you need. |
03Plan Meeting | Book a meeting with your NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Talk about how SDA supports your goals and your independence. |
04Include SDA in Your NDIS Plan | Make sure SDA is listed as a funded support in your NDIS plan. Discuss the SDA type, the features you need and the areas you prefer. |
05Look at Providers | Research SDA providers and ask about their homes and how to apply. |
06Apply to Providers | Submit applications to the SDA providers you choose. Provide all the information and documents they ask for. |
07Review and Approval | Providers check your form against their criteria and their homes. |
08Agreement Signing | Sign an SDA agreement once you are approved. |
09Getting Ready to Move | Arrange the transfer of supports, set up utilities and make the space your own. |
10Seek Support if Needed | If you hit trouble, talk to your NDIS planner, a support coordinator or an advocacy service. |
A home is more than bricks and mortar. Our aim on every project is that a resident feels at home in it.

SDA Central Coast NSW housing is Specialist Disability Accommodation built for NDIS participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. Edenbridge Living provides single-storey shared houses and private villas in Wamberal and the Gosford region. Every home is purpose-built for accessibility and long-term living, and each one is matched to an approved NDIS design category.
SDA funding is generally for NDIS participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. You usually need a functional capacity assessment and a housing needs assessment as evidence. The NDIA decides eligibility and funding, not the housing provider. Speak with your NDIS planner, support coordinator or Local Area Coordinator to confirm whether SDA suits your situation.
Our Central Coast homes are in Wamberal and the Gosford region. Wamberal is a quiet beachside suburb just north of Terrigal, moments from Wamberal Beach. The Gosford region is the service centre of the coast, with the hospital, the rail station and Erina Fair close by. We build in established residential streets, and every home is single-storey.
SDA and SIL are two separate NDIS supports. SDA is capital funding for the specialist home itself, including property maintenance and the assistive technology included in the build. SIL funds the daily personal support delivered inside that home. Edenbridge Living provides the home. You choose your own registered SIL provider, and we coordinate with them.
SDA funding sits under Capital Supports in an NDIS plan. It covers the specialist dwelling, property maintenance and the assistive technology included in the build. The participant pays a reasonable rent contribution, which is capped by the NDIA. Your plan and your circumstances set the exact figure, so check it with your planner or support coordinator.
Contact Edenbridge Living to talk through current and upcoming homes on the Central Coast. Availability changes, so we do not publish it on this page. Tell us about the participant, their support needs and their preferred area, and we will explain which homes may suit. You can also browse our SDA vacancies page for Sydney and the Central Coast.
