Eligibility is decided by the NDIA on a case-by-case basis. Generally, SDA funding may be included in your plan if you are an approved NDIS participant with an extreme functional impairment or very high support needs, and an occupational therapist has assessed SDA as a suitable housing solution. Your NDIS planner or support coordinator can confirm whether SDA is right for you.
We offer two SDA home types in Parramatta. Villas are single-storey, one-bedroom homes for fully independent living with your own private space. Houses are single-storey, three-bedroom homes with shared communal areas, where each resident keeps a private bedroom and bathroom. Both are step-free and matched to an approved SDA design category.
Edenbridge Living builds across the Improved Liveability, Robust, Fully Accessible, and High Physical Support design categories. Improved Liveability is our primary category, suited to residents with sensory, intellectual, or cognitive needs. Each home is matched to the design category that fits a resident’s support level.
